Dear Creatures and Spring

Seeing sneak peeks of Dear Creatures' Spring and Summer collection keeps making me excited for Spring. But I really don't want to be because it is way too soon! I don't usually spend very much on single pieces of clothing but I have bought 2 Dear Creatures dresses in the past. I love them so much, and they are really good quality! That was almost two years ago though. I have been very in love with their winter collection, and this one is just as lovely. I espescially like the Gretel dress in chambray and the last one.

Frost

 

Indoor activities have seemed extra nice lately due to the crazy cold. It is quite pretty outside, though! It's definitely one my favorite times of the year for picture taking!

Three!

         One:  A couple of sketchy type drawings that I did as part of an upcoming project.

 

Two: I finally get to go and see "Black Swan" tonight! I am even more curious now because I've heard from a few friends that it is a lot like "The Red Shoes," which very well might be my all time favorite movie, and Hans Christian Anderson story! I was actually planning a post about it but when I opened Google Reader today I saw 3 new posts dedicated to it already, so I've been beaten to it! This one by The Clothes Horse from a few months ago sums it up pretty well though. And I also enjoyed reading this article this week.

Three: The new issue of Cupcake Magazine has been up for a little while now. I contributed a few illustrations throughout, as well as another comic. There is also a feature on me which is something I find odd to even think about, but it was very nice of them to do! Mostly I just rambled about things that I like in between a few of my photos and drawings, haha.

Belated Happy New Year! I made a few resolutions this time, most of which surround the idea of sleeping less and working more. I'm hoping to actually carry through on a few of them this year, haha. I am a chronic 'list maker' who rarely checks everything off of a list, so another goal is to improve at that. Do you have any New Years goals?
